Look, the thing with comparing Mata and Silva is you have to remember that Silva has been in the Premier League for 2 seasons now, whereas this season was Mata’s first. It’s understandable that Silva has been better as he’s had more time to adapt to the league which is difficult when considering the different styles of football played in Spain and England. However Mata certainly took less time to settle into English football than Silva did. That CANNOT be argued. Silva was average in 2010-11

It’s not being a “biased twat”, It’s looking at the stat sheet. Mata only got two less assists than Silva playing in a weaker team with two strikers, who had 11 goals COMBINED, in two fewer appearances than Silva. Meanwhile Silva played in a team with 3 strikers who had 42 goals combined.
Mata had 19 goals and assists in a season where CFC scored 65 goals. That means Mata was responsible for 29.2% of CFC’s goals.
Silva had 21 goals and assists where MCFC scored 93 goals. Silva = 22.6%.

Anyways, yes Toure drives the midfield forward but up front all the magic is Silva, he creates most of the chances, as he’ll show for Spain this summer at the Euros.

I’m sorry, can you please actually read my comments? I have not mentioned the name ‘Mata’ ONCE in this short conversation, so don’t be a fucking idiot. Anyways, Silva has does not shit for them this second half, and I’m not basing my opinion off of statistics. I’ve watched many City games, and if you’ve done the same, you would have noticed that TOURE is the creator in the midfield, even when Silva DOES play.
