I think Mata is better. Mata is 3 years younger than Silva. Give Mata one or two more seasons i the premier league, and he’s gonna cause the opponent some real truble!

Mata is a more simple player, as for skill, dribbling and finding the pass Silva is ALOT more advanced then Mata, who will be in Spain’s starting 11? Mata or Silva? Silva will be because the Spanish coach knows he is the better play maker

What a team would Valencia had been if they had kept Silva, Mata, Villa, Soldado, Banega, Jordi Alba, and Piatti all together at the same time!!!! What a Team!!!
And adding Andres Guardado!!!

I really hope that Mata is a starter for spain in the Euros. He is better than Fabregas and considering Villa plays LW and won’t be playing Mata will most likely get a lot of playing time… He deserves it more than anything

i am a chelsea fan, but i do not think mata is better right now, but mata for sure has the talent to be better, and in 2 seasons i think he can be one of the best play makers in the world, thats what the spanierds are best at which is why they won euro 08 world cup 10 and will win euro 12. and i am British not spanish, so i am not bias or anything like that

Yeah Silva has 14 this season but he had 9 in his first season. Mata has 13 this season. Just saying Mata had a more impact-full season than Silva with more goals and assists in his first season.
